Code Enforcement Officer

Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for reviewing plans, issuing permits and conducting inspections in accordance with the Borough Ordinances. This position handles complaints relating to property maintenance and violations.

Public Works Department

The Public Works Department consists of three (3) full time employees. The crew is responsible for the maintenance of the Borough roads, sewers, street signs, leaf collection, winter snow and ice removal, parks and Borough property.

Real Estate Tax Office

The Real Estate Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of Borough property tax and Montour School District taxes. Earned Income Tax is collected by Jordan Tax Service

Administrative Offices

The Administrative Offices include the Borough Secretary-Treasurer and a part-time Administrative Assistant. The Secretary-Treasurer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Borough.

Police Department

The Police Department meets many needs of the community and its citizens. The Department strives to provide the Borough with a professional and first class team. The staff consists of the Chief, three (3) full-time and four (4) part-time Officers who are responsible for the safety of all residents and the enforcement of laws.

Volunteer Fire Department

Ingram residents are served by three (3) well staffed, trained and equipped volunteer fire stations, strategically placed throughout the Borough. The department has over fifty (50) active and associate members.

Ambulance Department

The Ingram Community Emergency Service Inc. is staffed by volunteer E.M.T.s and paramedics. The Ambulance service offers complete emergency services through advanced life support 24 hours a day.
